The Indians consider Navratras as a major festival and preparations for the festival start days, even months ahead.  Navratri wishes keep on pouring from different parts of the country and also from across the world. Poems are composed in the praise of this auspicious occasion and also describing the prowess of the deity Durga and Her role in eradicating all evils from this role. Children compose poems in Hindi and English describing the merriment of the celebrations. Kali Ka roop dhar kar tu, Ahnkaar Mitati hai.
Vasanao say ghire man ko Ma, tu nijaat dilati hai.
Laxmi ka roop dekh kar, Mugdh main ho jaata hoon
aur tere aashirwaad say dhan dhanay sukh (spritiual wealth) pata hoon.
