Maharana Pratap Jayanti 2023 Date

Maharana Pratap regarded as the bravest Indian ruler, fought several fights against the Mughals. But the most difficult of them was the Battle of Haldighati which took place on June 18, 1576 against Mughal emperor Akbar to defend his kingdom. Born to parents Maharana Udai Singh II and Rani Jeevant Kanwa, Maharana Pratap followed the strict codes of Kshatriya to fight with Akbar, defeated the Mughal emperor, Akbar three times in 1577, 1578 and 1579 from invading his estate. 

Maharana Pratap is regarded as a synonym for bravery and Pratap’s jayanti (birthday) is marked as a day to celebrate his valour and courage that defied any odds coming his way. Maharana Pratap Jayanti stands as a symbol of heroism, the spirit of freedom, pride, and valour exhibited by the Mewar king in his life against all odds. Pratap fought for his people and their pride against the Mughal empire.
