Yogini Ekadashi 2029 Date
Yogini Ekadashi comes between 'Nirjala Ekadashi' and 'Devshayani Ekadashi' and falls during 'Krishna Paksha' of 'Ashadha' month as per the North Indian calendar and during 'Krishna Paksha' of 'Jyeshtha' month as per South Indian calendar. The day of Ekadashi is dedicated to worshipping Sri Vishnu to seek his blessings.
On this day, people fast and perform puja to get bestowed with the divine blessings of Sri Vishnu. It is believed that fasting during Yogini Ekadashi and remembering Sri Hari Vishnu can purge all past and present sins, and grant all the wishes and luxuries to the observers of this fast. Sri Vishnu Devotees try getting salvation through fasting on this day. One can transcend to Swarga Lok after observing Yogini Ekadashi fasting. Yogini Ekadashi is famous in all three Loks. As per the legend, fasting on Yogini Ekadashi is believed equal to feeding 88 thousand Brahmins. The fast breaks the next day after sunrise, which is called Ekadashi Parana.
